BETHEL — Nearly three dozen companies have registered for the fourth annual Bethel Area Business and Home EXPO on Dec. 4. It will be held in the Telstar High School gymnasium off Route 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“The Expo offers lots of fun opportunities to interact with local and western Maine businesses and provides chances to win two grand prizes,” Robin Zinchuk, executive director of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce stated Monday in a report.

“Come take a chance to win a custom snowboard autographed by Seth Wescott, donated by Norway Savings Bank, or a cord of wood donated by Cross Excavation.”

Business owners interested in participating are asked to call the chamber at 824-2282. Zinchuk said that although the event is expected to sell out, space is still available for vendors at the EXPO and at the Taste of Bethel event from noon to 2 p.m. in the Telstar cafeteria.

The Taste of Bethel offers visitors “delicious tastes from local restaurants,” Zinchuk said.

Additionally, a Theme Wreath Auction will be held, wherein more than 24 businesses will decorate wreaths with specialty items and certificates. Bidding closes promptly at 2 p.m.

“All three events will collectively offer lots of great food, chances to learn about products and services available in our region, holiday shopping opportunities, and several chances to win some fantastic raffle items provided by our sponsors and local businesses,” Zinchuk said.
