BREWER, Maine (AP) — Police say an autopsy is scheduled on the body of a 21-year-old Maine man that was found floating in the Penobscot River a day after his family reported him missing.

The body of Corey Grenier, who was from Greenbush but had recently moved to Bangor, was found Saturday morning along the Brewer side of the river.

Brewer police Detective Sgt. Jay Munson told the Bangor Daily News that Grenier’s family had filed a missing persons report on Friday with Bangor police.

He said the case remains under investigation.
