I have two gripes: The first and more important is the use of cloth bags for shopping, which is something I do, but the baggers need to know not to push them so full and heavy. When someone is using an electric cart to assist (and I am), you might know a 50-pound bag will be impossible.

My second problem, much less serious, is drive-ups. Every one of them position the large menu past the speaker used to order. So when you get so you can see it, there is somebody asking for your order.

1. Messages left on answering machines: People need to slow down and speak clearly, especially their names and numbers. If I can’t “get it,” then they’re out of luck.

2. If motorcycles are being ticketed for being too loud, what about these small cars with loud, obnoxious mufflers? I would rather hear the bike!

3. And lastly, drivers coming onto Minot Avenue from Poland Road. People! Some of us work or live on Caron Lane and Old Farm Road — you need to turn safely. Besides, we have the right of way. You have a stop sign!
