OXFORD — Tammy Exel, formerly of the Slamma Restaurant, announces the opening of M&M Childcare in Oxford. Newly licensed and insured, this home childcare is located on Route 121, just beyond the Mechanic Falls town line. M&M personnel are CPR and first-aid certified. Exel states that home-cooked meals and snacks are offered and that there is a fenced-in play area with many toys available. There are preschool activities and structured lesson plans. Children from 6 weeks old to school age are being enrolled.

There will be an open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, to  allow those interested to visit and ask questions.
