U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud’s statement in the Sun Journal Nov. 17 about U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was extremely disturbing.

We can appreciate that some of his constituents up North are borderline sagebrush Democrats, but some of us who have voted for him recently are far from that segment of conservative Democrats.

I hope he will disassociate himself from reactionary ideas and move on to being more progressive. Pelosi was, is, and will be in the latter category.
