The fourth-grade students in Ms. Keneborus’ class at Walton School in Auburn had a special visitor on Nov. 8 during National Young Reader’s Week. Auburn Police Chief Phil Crowell read the book “Officer Buckle and Gloria” to the class and answered questions about being a police officer and staying safe. The school was also honoring veterans that week and Crowell is a veteran from Desert Storm.
