Motor vehicle burglaries

A vehicle parked at 21 Howe St. was burglarized prior to 9:54 p.m. Nov. 15, property was taken.

A vehicle parked at 34 Blake St. was burglarized sometime between Nov. 13-15. A small window was pushed out to gain entry. A CB radio was taken.

A vehicle parked at 70 Elm St. was burglarized overnight Nov. 14-15; a purse was taken.

A vehicle parked at 35 Wood St. was burglarized overnight Nov. 14-15. A window was broken with a rock to gain entry. A Cobra radar detector and a Garmin GPS were taken.

A vehicle parked at 7 Heathwood Lane was burglarized overnight Nov. 15-16. Money and sunglasses were taken.

A vehicle parked at 156 East Ave. was burglarized between 4 and 7:35 p.m. Nov. 18. A briefcase was taken.

Assault

A pedestrian who was walking on Campus Avenue was shot with a BB gun at 9:18 p.m. Nov. 13. The suspect was driving by in a maroon SUV, there is no further description.

Operating under the influence

Rachael Leighton, 22, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:19 a.m. Nov. 17 at Bates and College streets.
