FARMINGTON — The Titcomb Mountain Holiday Auction will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, at the Granary Restaurant function room. The auction, sponsored by the Farmington Ski Club and the Titcomb Mountain Ski Education Foundation, is in its 15th year.

This year’s auction will feature a variety of items from area businesses as well as community members. Highlights include: skis, downhill and Nordic ski passes, jewelry, furniture, handcrafted items, art and baked goods.

There will also be a raffle, including items from local artisans and businesses, such as an original painting courtesy of local artisan Mardy Bogar, a $200 Hannaford gift card from a donor and a two-Titcomb Mountain combined season pass. Raffle tickets are $5 each. To purchase one in advance, call Titcomb Mountain at 778-9031. Tickets will also be available at the auction event.

Some of the items to be auctioned this year will be on display the week of Nov. 29 in the window at the Calico Patch storefront on Broadway.

The silent auction bidding will begin at 6 p.m. and the live auction will start at 7 p.m. For those interested in eating dinner as well, a special holiday auction menu will be available and diners should ask to be seated upstairs in the function room between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Call 779-0710 for dinner reservations.
