SABATTUS — The wedding of Renee Marie Meservier and Anthony Joseph Poulin was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 2 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Poulin is the daughter of Michael and Susan Meservier of Turner. Mr. Poulin is the son of Laurence and Florence Poulin of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory strapless gown with lace-up back, drop waist, a taffeta pick-up skirt and chapel length train.

Nicole Meservier was honor attendant for her sister. Bridesmaids were Chantel Lavoie, friend of the bride, Jamie Poulin, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Sofi Hall, friend of the bride, and Katrina St. Claire, cousin of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaids were Alexa Poulin and Ashlyn Poulin, nieces of the bridegroom. Courtney Lachance, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his brother was Nicholas Poulin. Ushers were Jason Guerette, Adam Labbe, Kyle Rancourte, Andrew Camardese and Pat Duchette, friends of the bridegroom. Ian Poulin, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Greenwood Mountain Inn in Hebron, after which the couple traveled to Quebec City in Canada at the Chateau Frontenac. They are residing in Turner.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is employed at Starbucks in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’ s degree in kinesiology and physical education. He is employed at Planet Fitness in Lewiston.
