AUBURN — The Lewiston chapter of The Compassionate Friends will hold a memorial candle-lighting ceremony Sunday, Dec. 12, at St. Philips Church on Route 4.

The program will begin at 6:45 p.m., with poems and other remembrances of deceased children of any age, with the candle lighting beginning at 7 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive at the church between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.

Participants are also invited to bring a picture, memento or poem in remembrance of their loved ones for the memory table.

There will be time before and after the candle lighting to speak with other parents and local chapter members. Refreshments will be served.

Members of the local chapter will be available to speak with anyone who has questions or would just like to speak with The Compassionate Friends about the loss of their loved one. Refreshments will be served.
