Incident report statistics

Between Nov. 29 at 12 a.m. and Dec. 6 at 12 a.m., patrol officers responded to 88 complaints.

Charges

On Nov. 29, 8:35 p.m. — Melissa Burnham, 37, of Rumford was charged with criminal trespass and refusal to submit to arrest by patrolman Ian Theriault on Essex Avenue. Burnham posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

On Dec 1, 9:03 a.m. — Mark Hutchinson, 37, of Rumford was charged by Act. Cpl. Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating after suspension on Lowell Street. Hutchinson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on March 8.

On Dec. 1, 11:10 a.m. — Amanda Spitzer, 29, of Dixfield was arrested by patrolman Joseph Sage on a warrant for operating a motor vehicle without a license. Spitzer posted $100 cash bail and was released.

On Dec. 2, 11:27 a.m.— Marguerite Dodds, 42, of Rumford was charged with illegal possession of a usable amount of marijuana by acting Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Rumford Avenue. Dodds is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

On Dec. 2, 12:45 p.m. — John Gotto, 46, of Rumford was charged with illegal possession of a usable amount of marijuana by patrolman Joseph Sage on Cumberland Street. Gotto is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

On Dec. 4, 10:44 p.m. — Daniel Pelletier, 31, of Carthage was charged with assault by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Oxford Avenue. Pelletier is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

Assault

On Nov. 29, 9:22 p.m. — Patrolman Theriault is investigating an incident of an assault on Hancock Street.

Criminal mischief

On Nov. 30, 2:35 p.m. — Acting Sgt. Maifeld is investigating an incident of a car being keyed on Spruce Street. Estimated damage is $500.

On Dec. 2, 8:03 a.m. — Patrolman Sage is investigating an incident of three tires being cut on Hancock Street. Estimated damage is $300.

Theft

On Nov. 29, 9:20 a.m. — Patrolman Sage is investigating a theft of keys and papers from a car parked on Byron Street. Value of loss: $3.

On Nov. 29, 11:39 a.m. — Patrolman Sage is investigating a theft of property from a residence on Kennebec Street over the past couple months. Value of loss estimated at more than $2,000.

On Dec. 1, 2:37 p.m. — Patrolman Sage is investigating the theft of a laptop and controller from a residence on Erchles Street. Value of loss estimated at $595.

Wanted

Bert Holmquist, 28 , Peru, is wanted on a Oxford County Superior Court warrant for burglary, assault, criminal mischief and violation bail.
