Coach: Travis Magnusson (fourth year)
Last year’s record: 17-4 , lost in Western Class C final
Returning letter winners: Seniors — Mike Armstrong (center), Mike Castonguay (forward), Mike Anctil (forward), Hunter Brett (guard), Sam Chabot (guard), Jake Keene (forward), Bryan Maurais (guard).
Key losses: Chandler White, Khyle Whittemore, Nate Michaud, Tom Ventrella, Derek Castonguay, Willie Brown.
Promising newcomers: Jimmy Seitz (guard), James Lee (center), Brandon Ross (guard), Pat Ryan (guard), Nate Hamblin (guard), Josh Wilcox (center).
Outlook: Livermore Falls lost seven seniors from a team that made the school’s first trip to the regional final in 21 years. It’s still an experienced group, however, with nine seniors. The Andies will be counting on role players from last year’s team such as Anctil and Brett to step into the spotlight. Armstrong emerged as one of the top big men in the MVC as a junior. New faces to the starting lineup will have to hit the hardwood running: The Andies open the season at rival Jay.
Coach’s comment: “This is a special group. Their character and work ethic is second to none. If we can develop our identity, we will be a tough team.” — Coach Travis Magnusson
