Coach: Jared Browne (second year)

Last year’s record: 7-11

Returning letter winners: Seniors — Cam Morin (6-2 guard), Brian Bradstreet (6-0 guard); Sophomore — Trever Samson (6-0 guard).

Key losses: Tim Levesque, Kyle Emmons, Ben Foss, Jake Samson.

Promising newcomers: Seniors — Cody Provost (6-3 forward), Tanner Lessard (6-0 guard); Junior — Eric Lapointe (5-9 guard), Jamiel Kidd (5-8 guard); Sophomore — Sam Morin (5-10 guard), Andrew Whitehouse (5-7 guard); Freshmen — Brady Dion (5-5 guard), Luke Washburn (6-2 center), Parker Asselin (6-0 forward).

Outlook: Oak Hill’s seven wins were its most since 1995, but the Raiders missed the Western B tournament by two spots. Browne believes this year’s group could meet or exceed those accomplishments. Cam Morin is a three-year starter and will be the go-to player offensively. Bradstreet, in his second year as a co-captain, moves to point guard. The Raiders welcome some intriguing newcomers, including football standout Provost, who sat out the last two basketball seasons, and Kidd, a Deering transfer who has never played organized basketball but has opened eyes in practice. The Raiders should be a factor in the crowded mid-pack of KVAC Class B.

Coach’s comment:With so many young players and players who have not played much varsity basketball, a lot of teaching still needs to take place. Once everything clicks, I think we will be a team that is contending for a postseason spot.” — Coach Jared Browne
