Sarah Elwell, a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Agriculture Sciences and Natural Resources in Lincoln, Neb., received a Holling Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $750. She is majoring in animal science.

She is the president of the Cather-Pound Resident’s Association and a member of the Academy of National Hispanic Scholars. Elwell is a graduate of Lewiston High School. She is the daughter of Steven Elwell and Julie Gomez of Lewiston.
