Chowder luncheon

FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks Union Church will hold a fish chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17. It will include chowder, biscuit, pickles, cheese, dessert and coffee/tea.

For local delivery (within five miles of the church) call the church at 778-4705. The donation for the lunch is $6.

Free KC supper

JAY — A free public supper will be held Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 148 Main St.

Doors will open at noon and serving will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The menu will include turkey pot pie, ham, soup, bread, veggies and dessert.

St. Rose of Lima Boy Scout Troop199 will help serve along with other volunteers. Donations will be accepted.
