Yoga workshop

AUBURN — Jim Melloh, certified Amrit Yoga instructor, will present a yoga workshop from 6:15 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the YMCA. 

He will use gentle stretching, breathing and other techniques. No yoga experience or level of fitness is necessary. Workshop fee is $10 for YMCA members and $18 for nonmembers. Marines to meet

LEWISTON — The Marine Corps League Central Maine Detachment will hold its last meeting for 2010 at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Multi-Purpose Center.

Upcoming plans on color guard training will continue. Members will hold election of officers and the swearing-in of new members who recently joined.

Choir to perform

AUBURN — The second annual Christmas concert by the Lewiston High School Choir will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 78 Pleasant St.

Traditional Christmas carols and secular seasonal songs will be sung. A reception will be held in the Washburn Room after the concert.

Cribbage results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Dec. 9 were: first, Dick Dennis and Gene Brown; second, Andrea Metayer and Pat Records; third, Lorraine Fillion and Hope Hughes; fourth, Mickie Farnum and Norm Bissonnette; fifth, Jim Craven and John Violette.
