KENTS HILL — Zack Godbout and Joey Baumann each notched a hat trick to lead Maranacook peewee hockey past Maine Coast, 13-1, at Alfond Arena.
In its second game of the weekend, Maranacook traveled to Ingersoll Arena wnd was shut out by host Auburn Two, 3-0.
Zach Davidson and Matt Ingram each added two goals in the Maranacook victory. Brandon Coulombe, Nick Bowie and Hunter Tims all got into the scoring act. Godbout added three assists, with two each by Baumann and Marcis Hall and one apiece by Davidson, Nick Bowie, Matt Gyorgy and Jason St. Pierre.
Kyle Gleba scored the goal for Coast. Jack Vickerson was the winning goalie.
Evan Emerson had two goals and Matt Verrill added a goal and an assist to spark the Auburn triumph. Donovan Covert chipped in an assist. St. Pierre tended the Maranacook net. Savannah Shaw registered the shutout in goal for Auburn.
