AUBURN — Dorothy G. White, 90, of 85 Caron Lane, Auburn, died peacefully on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at the Odd Fellows Nursing Home.

She was born in Auburn on Sept. 8, 1920, the daughter of Herbert and Buelah (Tracy) Gough, and was a resident of this community all of her life.

In her earlier years, Dorothy was employed as a secretary for local businesses, before dedicating her life to her home and family.

She is survived by one son, Robert T. White and his wife, Anne, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; one sister, Beverly MacDonald of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Earlene Gough of North Carolina and Elizabeth Gough of Bar Harbor; two special nieces, Sue Sullivan and her husband, Frank, of Connecticut and Leza Gough of Portland; and several other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, William White and three brothers, Robert, Horace and John Gough.
