LEWISTON — Mary “Betsy” Baird Sadler, 57, of Lewiston, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, at Central Maine Medical Center following a very short illness with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Dexter, May 3, 1953, the daughter of Bernie and Kay (Merrow) Baird.
Betsy was a 1971 graduate of Edward Little High School. She attended the former Gorham Teachers College.
She was a customer service representative at Jones and Vining in Lewiston where she had worked for 31 years. Betsy loved her job as well as her co-workers. Betsy was a very caring and compassionate lady and was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her two sons, Paul and Jim Jr. and his wife, Tanya; brother, David and his wife, Terry, and their sons, Tim and Nathan; a sister, Anne Drouin and her husband, Bob, and their daughters, Jennifer and Kara; a brother, Jeffrey and his wife, Michele, and their children, Megan, Mandy, and Melissa; her parents, Bernie and Kay Baird; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul and Betty Crowell. Also surviving are many dear friends including Pat and Ed Crowell, Pauline Ellis, and Paulette Fortin.
She was predeceased by her husband, James T. Sadler, Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Bob and Peg Merrow; her paternal grandparents, Fred and Josephine Baird.
