Incident Report Statistics:

Between 12 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, and 12 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, patrol officers responded to 78 complaints.

Arrests/Summonses:

On Dec. 13 – 11:40 p.m., Robert McKinnon, 31, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson with violation of a protection order on Essex Avenue. McKinnon posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

On Dec. 16 – 2:20 p.m., Shannon Spaulding, 40, of Mexico was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on a warrant for failure to appear for an operating after suspension on River Street. Spaulding posted $250 cash bail and was released.

On Dec. 17 – 3:40 p.m., Gayla Sheldon, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a warrant from a grand jury indictment for murder on Maine Avenue. Sheldon was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On Dec. 17 – 5:49 p.m., Michelle Dias, 27, of Rumford was charged by patrolman Donald Miller with violating conditions of release on Cumberland Street. Dias was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on Feb. 18.

On Dec. 17 – 6:17 p.m., Michelle Dias, 27, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld with aggravated criminal mischief on River Street. Dias was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on Feb. 18.

On Dec. 18 – 2:26 p.m., John McLaughlin, 38, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson with violating protection from abuse on Congress Street. McLaughlin is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

On Dec. 19 – 9:44 a.m., Brice Gammon, 30, of Andover was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with violating conditions of release on River Street. Gammon was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 8.

Criminal Mischief:

On Dec. 15 – 2:30 a.m., patrolman Sage is investigating an incident of a door kicked in on Lincoln Avenue. Estimated damage $100.

On Dec. 15 – 12:27 p.m., patrolman Theriault investigated an incident of tires slashed on Waldo Street. Estimated damage $400.

On Dec. 18 – 8:08 a.m., Sgt. Higley investigated an incident of a broken window on a back hoe on Waldo Street. Estimated damage $500.

Theft:

On Dec. 14 – 10:43 a.m., Kennebec Street resident reported gas stolen from his garage. Case is under investigation.

Wanted

John J. Hansen, 23 , of Rumford and Mexico is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to pay fines on operating after suspension.
