WILTON — The cause of death for a Stratton woman visiting family in Wilton is under investigation, Wilton police Lt. E. Page Reynolds said.
Police and paramedics responded to a Kent Road home just before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday after family members found Wanda Ellsworth, 47, of Stratton unresponsive, Reynolds said.
Paramedics were unable to resuscitate her. The cause of death is under investigation, he said. Police do not suspect foul play but have requested that the cause be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office, he said.
She was visiting with family and when they were unable to wake her, they called 911, he said.
