An SUV driven by Shawna J. Poulin, 29, of New Gloucester struck the back of a van driven by Daphne A. Berta, 43, of Auburn, while Berta was stopped in traffic at 4:45 p.m. Monday on Western Promenade. Damage to Poulin’s 2002 Ford was estimated at $2,000; to Berta’s 2004 Dodge, $1,500.

Sergey A. Miller, 16, of Auburn, lost control of the truck she was driving and slid into a utility pole at 5:30 p.m. Monday on Stevens Mill Road. Damage to the 2005 Ford, owned by Darleen Miller, was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the CMP pole was estimated at $1,000.

Vehicles driven by James Lozis, 50, of Auburn, and Jamie Lynn Turcotte, 30, of Litchfield collided at 5:25 p.m. Monday at Winter and Dennison streets. Damage to Lozis’ 1998 Ford was estimated at $2,000; to Turcotte’s 1999 Pontiac, $5,000.

Kusumakumari Polavaram, 45, of Auburn, lost control of her car and crashed through a pipe fence and into a tree at 4:55 p.m. Monday on Court Street near Highland Avenue. Damage to her 2003 Toyota was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the city of Auburn fence was estimated at $2,500.

A car driven by Samuel A. Mason, 20, of New Gloucester, struck the back of a car driven by Karen Gurschick, 52, of Auburn, while Gurschick was stopped at a light at 6 p.m. Monday on Danville Corner Road and Washington Street. Damage to Gurschick’s 2004 Nissan was estimated at $7,000; to Mason’s 2000 Pontiac, $400.
