PARIS — Open registration is under way for spring semester courses at Central Maine Community College, including the 20 classes being offered in Oxford County.

In addition to courses at the Western Maine University and Community College Center (WMUCC) in South Paris, a number of courses are being delivered at Telstar Regional High School, Region 9 School of Applied Technology and at Fryeburg Academy. The spring semester starts Jan. 18.

“We have a large number of students from Oxford County who are enrolled in degree programs at CMCC,” said Michelle Hawley, student services representative for Oxford County and coordinator at the WMUCC. “By offering courses at the Western Maine Center and other sites in Oxford County, we strive to make the college experience more convenient and accessible for these students. We are very pleased to add Fryeburg Academy next semester as a new site.”

Introduction to Psychology, Intermediate Algebra and College Writing will be offered at the Fryeburg site. All courses being offered in Oxford County are listed online at www.cmcc.edu under “Off Campus Locations.”

Students are encouraged to register online at www.cmcc.edu. They may also call the CMCC Registrar’s Office at 800-891-2002, ext. 292.
