LISBON FALLS — A surprise party was held recently for Rick and Gwen Rioux of Lisbon Falls on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by the parents of Mrs. Rioux, Margaret and Dean Logan, and was held at the Logan home.

Silver, purple and white balloons decorated the back yard. A DVD of their lives was made by their sons and the father of Mr. Rioux. Kelly Barclay had charge of the guest book.

Mr. Rioux and the former Gwen Logan were married July 20, 1985, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church in Lisbon Falls. They have two sons, Matt and Nate.

Mrs. Rioux is employed at Central Maine Health Care and is a member of the Lisbon United Methodist Church.

Original wedding attendants present were Scott Rioux, best man and brother of Mr. Rioux; Kelly Logan Barclay, maid of honor and cousin of Mrs. Rioux; and bridesmaids Melodie Harmon Burnham, Melissa Harmon Vear; and ushers Dean Logan, brother of Mrs. Rioux, and Herman Hughes.
