AUBURN — The wedding of Laurie Gosselin and Kurt Howard was held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 28 at St. Louis Church in Auburn. Pastor Scott Planting and the Rev. Richard McLaughlin officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Howard is the daughter of Dennis and Janet Gosselin of Auburn. Mr. Howard is the son of Ivan and the late Jean Howard of Farmington.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown with short sleeves and beaded front and zipped up back with beaded buttons. She carried a bouquet of a single pink rose, Stargazer lily and assorted flowers.

Kathy Howard and Sandra Rollins, sisters of the bride, were honor attendants. Best men were Brent Howard and Aaron Howard, brothers of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the VFW Hall in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Connecticut. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1990 graduate of Jay High School and is employed at TD Bank as an exceptions clerk.

The bridegroom is a 1986 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and is currently employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center as an order filler.
