RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Jacqueline A. Melanson was celebrated Tuesday at St. Athanasius–St. John Church, with the Rev. Phil Tracy, pastor, as the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Hosea,” “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd,” “Ave Maria” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” The eulogy was given by Corey Melanson. A reception followed in the church hall. Interment will be in the spring at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
