RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Doucette was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria,” “You Raise Me Up” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were done by her grandson Tim Pomerleau and great-granddaughter Casey Pomerleau. The eulogy was given by her granddaughter Dawn Whaley. Gift bearers were her daughter Sandra and her son-in-law Eddie Pomerleau. Extraordinary minister was her daughter Pearl Snowman. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
