FARMINGTON — The American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of Franklin will officially get under way as cancer survivors, caregivers, families, schools, companies, faith-based and civic organizations gather for a kickoff rally to launch their fundraising efforts for the year at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
The rally will be the first opportunity to register a team, ask questions and see what the overnight event is like.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease.
The Relay For Life of Franklin County will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4, at Jay High School.
