RANGELEY PLANTATION — Public memorial services for Robert Wayne “Bob” Allen of Rangeley Plantation were held Sunday from the Rangeley Congregational Church, United Church of Christ with the Rev. William R. “Bill” Carter officiating. Minister of music and soloist was Sue Downs-Borko; she sang “Wings of a Dove.” Congregational hymns included “In the Bulb There is a Flower” and “Spirit, Spirit of Gentleness.” Close friends offered personal eulogies. After services, a comfort reception was held in The Barn, hosted by the Women’s Fellowship, where a remembrance video was featured. Spring committal services at Evergreen Cemetery, Rangeley. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington.
