LEWISTON — Gloria M. (Ouellette) Bergeron, 82, formerly of Gamage Avenue, Auburn, died Thursday, Jan. 6, at Russell Park, following a lingering illness.

She was born in Dearborn, Mich. on Jan. 8, 1928, the daughter of the late Romeo and Anne (Scanlon) Ouellette of Auburn. Gloria graduated from Edward Little High School in 1946.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Bergeron and his wife, Joan, of Lewiston; a daughter, Catherine Bergeron and her husband, Daniel, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Joseph Bergeron of Auburn, Michael Bergeron and companion, Jessica, of Auburn and Karen Cloutier and her husband, Brian, of Auburn; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Haley of Auburn; stepgrandchildren, Gage, Clarissa and Zachary, all of Auburn; a brother, Richard Ouellette and his wife, Beverly, of Auburn; a brother-in-law, Richard Becker of Lewiston; and sisters-in-law, Pauline Bergeron of Auburn, Jeanine Bergeron of Lewiston and Claire MacDonald of Oquossac.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Louis Bergeron; a son, Roch Louis Bergeron in 1995; and a sister, Dolores Becker.
