AUBURN — Joyce Ann Brant, 65, of 73 Randall Road, Lewiston, passed away late Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Clover Manor.

She was born in Skowhegan, June 21, 1945, a daughter of Perly and Althea Pierpont Bowring. Joyce was educated in Madison, and has lived in the area since her marriage to Garry Brant on April 10, 1982. She mostly worked as a homemaker as she and Garry raised their two daughters.

Joyce always treasured her time spent with her husband, daughters and two grandsons. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, dancing, cooking and listening to country-western music. She was an inspiration to her family as well as a loving, devoted and hard-working wife, mother, grandmother, who will be dearly missed.

She leaves her husband, Garry Brant of Lewiston; her daughters, Tracy Brant and husband, Chris Cato-Wailus and Sherri Brant and companion, Richard Stanton, both of Lewiston; two grandsons, Gabriel and Jacob Brant; her mother, Althea Bowring of Madison; her sister, Debbie Duenas and husband, Joe, of Madison; her brother, Kenny Bowring and wife, Cheryl, of Vassalboro; and several nieces and nephews.
