POLAND SPRING — The wedding of Tonya M. James and Timothy R. Largay Jr. was held at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at All Souls Chapel in Poland Spring. Pastor Eric Larson officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Largay is the daughter of Richard and Theresa James of Lewiston. Mr. Largay is the son of Timothy and Debbie Largay Sr. of Holden.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an elegant, long, beaded gown and carried a bouquet of white Cala lilies and purple roses.

The best friend of the bride, Elisha Ghram was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Provencher, Tracy LaBrecque and Lindsay Jackins, friends, and Kelly James, sister of the bride. Grace Goodwin, a niece, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his brother was John Goodwin. Ushers were Scott Hatch, Nick Fox and Tony Lorenz, friends, and Andrew James, brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the Lewiston Elks Lodge, after which the couple traveled to Cancun in Mexico. They are residing in Bangor.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Lewiston High School and received an associate degree in early childhood education. She is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is employed at Wal-Mart and is a part-time child care provider and student at Husson University.

The bridegroom is a a 2003 graduate of Brewer High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Maine. He is a rental agent for National Alamo at the Bangor Airport.
