AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. Annual reports are due and there will be installation of officers for 2011. Tickets ($5) will be sold for the Valentine luncheon Feb. 9. Dues ($5 a year) must be paid for the year 2011 in order to attend.

At the beginning of each year Robin Dow makes an appeal for new members. The senior group meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, excluding November and December. Anyone age 55 or older is welcome and does not have to be a resident of Auburn.

Bingo is played at most meetings, and trips, luncheons and parties are held in celebration of most of the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. The trip chairperson has trips throughout the year.

Each member is asked to bring a bag lunch, and a cup for the coffee and cookie served. The meetings begin at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall. Visitors are always welcome.
