WATERFORD — Waterford World’s Fair will have the first public supper of 2011 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Harrison United Parish Church.

The menu will include turkey, potato, vegetable, stuffing, cranberry, beverage, dessert and homemade pies for $8. Children under age 4 are free.

The next regular fair meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at the Waterford Town Office. Everyone is welcome.

The annual Winter Fun Day at the Highview Farm of Bill and Darcy Winslow, Leander Harmon Road, Harrison, will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23.

Events will include horse-drawn sleigh rides, sliding in the big field in front of the farm, bonfire with a hot dog roast and petting zoo with lots of farm animals.

The fair’s mobile food wagon will be open for lunch and snacks.
