WATERVILLE — Jane M. Franchetti, RN, has been named assistant director of nursing for Care & Comfort, a statewide home health and mental health care agency. Susan D. Giguere, president/CEO of the company, announced the appointment of the Wilton resident.

Franchetti will assist Nancy Ward, director of nursing, in administration and conduct nursing visits. Franchetti, who has been in the nursing field for 15 years, previously worked in numerous departments at Franklin Memorial Hospital, and as an occupational health nurse for Verso Paper Co.

Prior to becoming a registered nurse, she spent 16 years in office positions for Sappi.
