Network meeting

RUMFORD — A Community Networking Meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, is scheduled for noon Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Rumford Community Home, 11 John F. Kennedy Lane. A light lunch will be provided.

MaryAnn Amrich, Western District public health liaison of the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, will present the Western District Health Improvement Plan.

This is the first time the state has asked each health district to draft a plan. The plan is a pilot to learn how to coordinate with partners across the district.

Other agenda items include community updates from the Healthy Communities as well as from other River Valley organizations.
