Dover, N.H. — Rina Joan Johnson of Dover, N.H., and formerly of Lewiston, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, at the age of 67, following a long battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Rina was born in Lewiston on July 20,1943, to the parents of Charles and Gertrude (Corno) Lavoie. She attended Lewiston schools and retired after serving 20 years with the Lewiston School Lunch Program, fondly known as the lunch bunch.

Rina spent her life serving as an advocate and friend to those living with cancer. She was a very compassionate and determined lady and an inspiration to all her knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy and her husband, William Bennett, of Dover, N.H.; sons, Gary F. Johnson of Lewiston, and Charles Johnson and his wife, Heidi, of Auburn; four grandchildren, Ashley and her husband, Jason, of Laconia, N.H., Matthew Clark of Jacksonville, Fla., and Courtney and Brian Johnson of Auburn.

She is also survived by her siblings, Arlene Krysiak of Chandler, Ariz., Marie Lavoie of Mansfied, Mass., and Paul Lavoie of Auburn; many nieces and nephews; and her BFF, Joline Caron, of Scarborough.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Gertrude (Corno) Lavoie.
