Lodge to meet

RUMFORD — Gorizia Lodge 467, Sons of Italy, will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at the Sons of Italy Hall in Smithcrossing. All members are encouraged to attend.

Benefit dance

RUMFORD — The American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring a benefit dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Legion to support the Comforts From Home program. All proceeds will support local deployed servicemen and women.

Entertainment will be provided by Fair Enough, composed of (Mark Steele, Randy DeRoche, Michelle Johnson, Tony Umbro and Mike Arsenault.

There will be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle. A spaghetti supper will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children. Bake sale items will also be available.

Tickets are available at the American Legion or by contacting Kelly at 357-5530 or Tricia at 357-3289. Cost is $10 a person. Those wishing may donate items for the raffles.
