AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer “Fundamentals of Human Resources” from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 3 through March 10. The cost is $495, including participant materials, and is open to the public.

The introductory course is for individuals who are new to the human resources profession or for supervisors and managers needing to understand basic human resources management. It offers a comprehensive overview of the human resources roles and responsibilities.

The course will be taught by Beverly MacCallum, SPHR. MacCallum is a human resources officer for Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston and holds a bachelors of science in business management from Bentley College. She has earned her senior professional of human resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
