PARIS — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Beginner Microsoft Excel 2007 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 16 to March 9, at WMCCC, 232 Main St., South Paris. The cost of $255 includes book and materials.

Microsoft Excel 2007 is a spreadsheet application used to create and format data and is an analytical tool assisting individuals and organizations to make better informed decisions.

The class is a beginner course for individuals who have not used Microsoft Excel 2007 or require a refresher course on the basics of the software.

The class will go into the development and use of spreadsheets for a variety of general applications. Participants will experience hands-on instruction in order to acquire the needed knowledge to prepare them for more advanced Excel functions and features.
