ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Nancy Ann Peterson passed away Jan. 12, in Roseville, Calif. Nancy was 69 years old and died peacefully after a long courageous battle against cancer.

She was born Oct. 20, 1941, in Lewiston, the youngest of four children born to Oliver and Zadie (Thomas) Dufresne. She graduated from Edward Little High School of Auburn in 1960. She resided most of her adult life in northern California.

She will be remembered for the many hearts touched by her thoughtfulness, kindness and great sense of humor. Nancy had a great passion and love for animals. She loved being with family and friends.

Nancy is survived by daughter, Kristine, son-in-law, Richard Harlan, grandson, Christopher of Penryn, Calif., daughter, Katherine Kelly and grandchildren, Parker and Madison of Rocklin, Calif.; and her brother, Ronald Dufresne (wife, Vivian) of Yorba Linda, Calif.

She was predeceased by husband, Alfred Peterson; mother, Zadie Thomas; father, Oliver Dufresne; and brothers, Richard and Robert.

She will be dearly missed and leaves a very loving family and many friends.
