WEST POLAND — The wedding of Hannah Wardwell and Lance Denny was held at noon on Oct. 15 at the Winterbrook Fellowship at the Megquier Hill Meeting House in West Poland. Pastor Patrick Denny officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Denny is the daughter of George and Cindy Wardwell of Poland. Mr. Denny is the son of Patrick and Rhonda Denny of Poland.

The bride wore an A-line gown of white satin with shirred Empire waist, wide shoulder straps and long train. The gown consisted of a beaded sheer overlay, split down the center beginning with intricate bead work at the waist, which also covered the bodice and straps. She carried a bouquet of white and red roses, baby’s breath and orange Queen alstromeria with trailing ivy tied in a white ribbon.

Emily Wardwell, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Natasha Denny and Mishayla Denny, sisters of the bridegroom. Cyndi Rike, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Seth Denny was best man for his brother. Ushers were Josiah Denny, brother of the bridegroom and John Wardwell, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Casey Robert Becker Jr., nephew of the bride.

A reception followed at the New Gloucester Bible Church, after which the couple traveled to a private summer home at Thompson Lake in Oxford. They are residing in Oxford.

The bride is a recent high school graduate, having been home-schooled the past six years. She previously attended Portsmouth Christian Academy in Dover, N.H. She is currently caring for her husband and new home.

The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Five Smooth Stones Academy, where he home-schooled from kindergarten through 12th grade. He is employed as an electrician’s helper at Wescott Electric.
