FARMINGTON — The deadline to file nomination papers for two selectmen and two school board seats was pushed forward after selectmen moved the annual town meeting up to April 2.

The Jan. 28 deadline for submitting papers has been moved to Feb. 17, Daryl Schramm, deputy town clerk, said Monday.

The terms of Jon Bubier and Nancy Porter expire this year. Porter has filed papers for re-election.

Dennis Pike has submitted papers for a seat on the Mt. Blue School District board. The terms of Claire Andrews and Robert Flick are expiring. Both Andrews and Flick have submitted their intentions to run again, Schramm said.
