NORWAY — Artists and artisans are being sought for the 44th annual Norway Arts Festival, scheduled for Saturday, July 9.

Featured will be paintings, drawings, photography, wood, metal and glass sculpture; fine jewelry; handmade prints; and fiber and textile/fiber arts. All artwork must be the original design and creation of the exhibitor.

The Western Maine Art Group will again organize the art show; the Norway Downtown will oversee the festival’s musical, theatrical and dance performances as well as food vendors and community booths.

Public officials have approved the closing of the street to enable a pedestrian mall from 258 to 450 Main St.

Applications for booths must be received by June 15 for inclusion in the festival program. For applications, go to www.NorwayArtsFestival.org, contact Aranka Matolcsy at 890-9399 or write to norwayartsfestival@gmail.com.
