School auction

JAY — Jay Middle School will hold a yard sale and silent auction from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, downstairs in the community building. All proceeds will go for the eighth-grade trip to Boston.

 Book fair

LIVERMORE FALLS — A book fair will be held at the RSU 36/Jay Adult and Continuing Education Center, 9 Cedar St.

 It will be open to the public on the following dates and times: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19.

Warming center

WILTON — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will serve as a warming center throughout February. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 59 High St. For more information, call the church office at 645-2639.

Breakfast set

Society to meet

CARTHAGE — The Carthage Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the Carthage Town Office. There will be a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting to follow. All are welcome.

Fairbanks supper

FARMINGTON — There will be a public supper held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Fairbanks School, 508 Fairbanks Road. The entry fee will be a donation and take-out will be available. For more information, call 778-3808.

An antique and collectible sale will also be held at the school from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26. Donations will be accepted by calling 778-3808 or 778-4349. Pick-up will be available within a 20-mile radius of Farmington.

Both events will benefit the Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association’s Building Upkeep Fund.
