LIVERMORE FALLS — Firefighters responded early Sunday to a report of a collapsed roof on a second-story porch at 8 Middle Ave., located off Park Street.
No one was injured, fire Chief Gerry Pineau said Monday.
The person who lived there couldn’t get out, he said.
“We’re assuming it was caused by heavy snow and ice buildup,” Pineau said.
The call came in at 2:22 a.m.
Assistant fire Chief Ron Leclerc was in charge at the scene.
There was other building collapses around central Maine and Pineau and other firefighterss are working toward a regional resource for these type of incidents, he said.
