Lewiston
* A parked vehicle owned by John Ray of Poland and for sale in the Jack’s Auto Mart parking lot on Main Street was struck by another vehicle at 10:06 a.m. Sunday. The second vehicle, which left the scene, struck the driver’s side of Ray’s 2007 Toyota and pushed it into a metal post, causing damage on the passenger side as well, according to a police report. Damage to Ray’s Toyota was characterized as functional.
* A vehicle driven by Paul M. Soucy, 32, of Monmouth, backed into a vehicle driven by Zachary Caron, 26, of Lewiston while plowing the parking lot at 1134 Lisbon St. at 8:39 a.m. Sunday. Damage to Caron’s 1992 Volvo was characterized as minor. Damage to Soucy’s 2008 Chevrolet was characterized as functional.
Auburn
* A vehicle driven by Harry D. Hutchinson, 65, of West Paris, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Doreen C. Stinson, 53, of Brunswick, while Stinson was stopped in traffic at 12:28 p.m. Monday at Center Street and Lake Auburn Avenue. Damage to Hutchinson’s 2000 Subaru was characterized as minor. Damage to Stinson’s 2005 Pontiac was characterized as functional.
* A vehicle driven by Walter C. Smythe, 66, of Standish, and a vehicle driven by Kathryn D. Adams, 32, of Otisfield collided while Smythe was pulling out of a parking lot onto Minot Avenue at 8 a.m. Monday. Damage to Adams’ 2003 Toyota was characterized as disabling and the vehicle was towed. Damage to Smythe’s 2007 Chevrolet was characterized as functional.
* A vehicle driven by Devin Hebert, 24, of South Paris, was struck while stopped in traffic at 12:20 a.m. Monday on Minot Avenue. The second vehicle, which did not stop after striking Hebert’s car, was described as a red club cab pickup truck by a police report. Damage to Hebert’s 1998 Dodge was characterized as functional.
