AUGUSTA — Maurice A. Dutil, 68, of 5 Sullivan Road, Greene, died Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Togus VA Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston, May 15, 1942, the son of Armand and Marianna Bailargeon Dutil. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of Lewiston High School, and then served in the U.S. Army. He was employed for many years as a foreman at Diamond Machine, retiring in 2006.
On May 21, 1982, he married the former Betty Ann Sirois. A member of Holy Rosary Parish in Sabattus, he also belonged to the Jacques Cartier Club.
Survivors include his loving wife of Greene; a brother, Roger Dutil of Auburn; two sisters, Therese Lacasse of Lewiston and Irene and husband, Louis McNaughton, of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Claire Dutil.
