EUGENE, Ore. — Dorothy M. Rollins of Eugene, Ore., 99, died Feb. 1, of age-related causes.
She was born in Drew, March 4, 1911, to Ernest and Amy Moores Mackay. She married Vernon Rollins on Oct. 13, 1931, in Massachusetts, and he died in 1998.
She graduated from Wytopitloc High School in Maine in 1929. She owned a dress shop and also worked as town librarian in Mechanic Falls.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Rollins of Eugene; two brothers, Blake Mackay of Bethel and Roderick Mackay of Houlton; two sisters, Katheryn Eames of Cape Elizabeth and Phyllis Mackay of West Springfield; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
