NORWAY — Oxford Hills Family Practice and Western Maine Family Practice announce that Dawn DeCotiis, family nurse practioner, has joined their group.
DeCotiis has most recently been on staff in the emergency department at Stephens Memorial Hospital for nearly three years. DeCotiis will split her time between the practices.
DeCotiis earned her nursing degree from Eastern Maine Medical Center, her bachelor of nursing from Regents College, and her master in nursing, primary care family nurse practitioner degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She also possesses a post-master’s certificate in nursing education, and is ANCC-certified as a family nurse practitioner.
During her nursing career, DeCotiis has worked as a staff nurse at several hospitals throughout the state, as a nurse practitioner in occupational medicine, and in local emergency rooms.
